Paul Huch joined the Meredith College Athletics staff in 2009 as head women’s tennis coach. He led Meredith to a No. 1 seed in the 2012 USA South Conference Tournament after two consecutive seasons with a second-place regular season finish. In each of his first three seasons with the Avenging Angels, Meredith completed the season as runner-up in the league tournament.

With Huch at the helm, standout player Puja Patel garnered USA South Women’s Tennis Rookie of the Year honors in 2011 and league Player of the Year accolades in 2011 and 2012. In addition, four Meredith players earned first team all-conference honors with four more claiming second and third team all-conference awards during his three-year tenure.

Huch came to Meredith after completing eight seasons as the head men's and women's tennis coach at Connecticut College in New London. Huch guided the Camels women's tennis team to a 40-29 (.580) record between 2006-2009 as a member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), the top Division III conference in the country featuring four teams in the top 17, including 2009 National Champion Williams College.

Under Huch's direction, the CC women’s teams were nationally ranked in the ITA National Poll from 2004-2007. In 2005, Huch led the Camel women to a 10-7 mark and garnered NESCAC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year honors. He guided Connecticut to an 11-5 mark in 2004, matching the highest win-total in the history of the program. The Camels climbed to #24 in the ITA Division III Poll. Huch's men's program finished 8-8 in 2007, doubling their win total from the previous season and posting the best record for the program since 2000.

Prior to his arrival in Connecticut, Huch directed the Macalester College women’s tennis program in St. Paul, Minnesota. During his two-year tenure, the 1999 squad posted the best record in school history.

Since 2010, Huch serves as the Head Pro at Weekapaug Tennis Club in Westerly, Rhode Island, during the summer months.

Huch is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
