Tennis Completes a 3-1 Record in Florida Over Spring Break

Orlando, Fla. - The Meredith tennis team played four matches in Florida over spring break and finished with a 3-1 record.  Brief updates will be posted below:

Mar. 5 - Meredith 6, Haverford 3:  The Avenging Angels gained their fourth win on the year with a 6-3 win over Haverford.  Meredith took two in doubles and four in singles to gain the win.  Puja Patel, Caroline Hunt and Betty Edwards all secured win in singles and doubles while Mollie Musgrave gained the singels victory.

Mar. 6 - Meredith 7, Berry 2:  Meredith continued their winning ways as they defeated the Vikings 7-2 on Tuesday.  Meredith took swept the  doubles to lead 3-0 and then took four of the singles mated to seal the match at 7-2.  Patel and Edwards both won their singles and doubles matches.

Mar. 7 - Coe 8,  Meredith 1: Coe took all three doubles and five of six in singles to take the 8-1 win.  Musgrave gained the only win for Meredith, as she earned a 2-6, 6-3, 10-5 victory at #5 singles.
    
Mar. 8 - Meredith 8, Bryn Mawr 1:  The Avenging Angels finished off their spring break trip with a 8-1 victory over Bryn Mawr on Thursday.  Meredith saw all of the doubles matches and five of six singles matches go their way.  Patel, Hunt, Newton, Edwards and Musgrave all won their doubles and singles matches.

Meredith returns to action on March 13 as they start conference play with a match at N.C. Wesleyan.
