Volleyball Falls to Quakers in Five
Greensboro, N.C. – The Meredith volleyball team opened the season on the road at Guilford College. The Quakers won the first set 25-21 then dropped the next two sets, 25-23 and 25-19. Guilford rebounded for a close 26-24 win in set four before putting away the Avenging Angels 15-11 in the decisive set.
Meredith was led by Mallory
Booker's 22 kills and Kara
Baughman added 23 assists.
The Avenging Angels next play on Friday at 4 p.m. against
Philadelphia Biblical at the Methodist University Tournament.
