Meredith Hosts Athletic Banquet
RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith College Athletic Department hosted the annual awards banquet Wednesday, April 24, to celebrate the 2012-2013 accomplishments of the seven Avenging Angel teams and all student-athlete participants. Athletics Director Jackie Myers recognized the 63 student-athletes who earned at least a 3.0 grade point average during the 2012 calendar year, including eight named to the Vice-President's Club for earning a perfect 4.0.

USA South "Cans Across the Conference" Results

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Meredith Avenging Angels entered today's final conference playdate needing two wins to earn a trip to the USA South volleyball tournament next weekend in Martinsville, Virginia. Volleyball Named to AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2011-2012 Season
Lexington, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced today that 534 teams have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2011-2012 season. This number once again breaks the previous year's total of 481 and sets a new all-time high for this award. The Meredith volleyball team was named to the honors in Division III by the AVCA.
