Fayetteville, N.C. - The Meredith tennis team dropped their USA South opener 9-0 at Methodist University Tuesday afternoon at the Gene Clayton Tennis Center.

The Monarchs took all three doubles matches to start the day. Senior Hannah Jo Jablonski and junior Ellie Osborne played the tightest match in the No. 2 doubles slot losing 8-2 before the Angels lost all singles matches in straight sets. 

Meredith is back in action when they host Brevard College on Thursday at 4 p.m. for their USA South home opener.
