Buena Vista, Va. - The Meredith tennis season came to an end in the first round of the USA South Conference Tournament at Southern Virignia University after the Angels fell 5-0. In tournament play, once the match is clinched, the match is over.

The Knights started the afternoon sweeping doubles action. Junior Claire Southern and fifth-year Hannah Higgins played in the tightest doubles match in the No. 1 slot falling 8-2. 

The Angels fell in straight sets in the two singles matches that clinched the match for the Knights.

Meredith finished the season 6-12 and 2-6 in USA South play with both conference wins coming at the end of the season.
