Meredith Set to Compete in USA South Cross Country Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Meredith College Cross Country team is set to compete in the USA South Championship this Saturday, November 1st, hosted by Pfeiffer College in Misenheimer, N.C. The Avenging Angels enter the championship meet projected to finish second among conference competitors, aiming to close their strong season with a top performance.

Meredith wrapped up the regular season with a solid showing at the Roanoke Cross Country Invitational, finishing seventh overall and building momentum heading into the championship. The Angels' consistent growth throughout the season has been driven by standout performances from both veteran and first-year runners.

Delaney Bundy has led the way, earning USA South Runner of the Week honors twice this season, showcasing her leadership and steady presence at the front of the pack. Juana Silva Jimenez also made her mark early in her collegiate career, capturing Rookie of the Week recognition for her impressive performances.

The Avenging Angels will hit the course at 10:00 a.m. (UPDATED TIME) on Saturday, ready to chase a podium finish and cap off an impressive season at the USA South Championship.
