Sweet Briar, Va. — The Meredith College field hockey team wrapped up its 2025 regular season on the road Saturday afternoon, battling through an intense overtime matchup at Sweet Briar College. The Avenging Angels showed heart and resilience in their final outing, capping off one of the most successful seasons in program history.
How It Happened
First Quarter
Meredith came out firing, striking first just before the end of the opening quarter. Megan Ingenito found the back of the cage at the 12:58 mark, assisted by Charlotte Dyer, to give the Avenging Angels an early lead.

Second Quarter
