RALEIGH, N.C. — Meredith College is recruiting for its newest varsity sport: Flag Football! If you're passionate about the game and ready to compete at the collegiate level, we want to hear from you.

Flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, with more than 65 NCAA institutions sponsoring programs at the varsity or club level—and even more coming in 2026. It's now on track for NCAA championship status and was recently added to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, marking a major milestone for the sport.

At Meredith, we're excited to be part of this powerful movement. As we build our program, we're looking for dedicated athletes to join us and help write the first chapter in Avenging Angels flag football history.
