Biography
2021-22: (cross) Weaver earned an at-large bid to the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, becoming the first Avenging Angel in program history to do so.
2019-20: (cross) USA South All-Conference first-team honoree. Set new MCXC all-time 6,000m record at NCAA Regionals (23:30.0). Presented team's Most Valuable Runner award. (track) Presented team's Most Valuable Athlete award. Set new MCTF all-time records in 1000m, 1500m, 1600m events. Posted team's season-best 800m pace. Season canceled 03/19/2020.
Prep: A longtime dual-sport athlete in volleyball and soccer. Played travel soccer ball for SASL and TUSA and club volleyball with Brick City and L2. Earned All-Conference and All-State honors in both sports while at Lee Christian. Named conference MVP and conference tournament MVP two years.
Interesting bit: Competed in a Spartan Race before coming to Meredith and placed first for the run and second for the race in her age group to qualify for the North American Championships. Weaver also enjoys watching hockey and going on walks with her dog, Comet.
