Chris Alescio joined the Meredith Avenging Angels soccer program fall 2025. Alescio brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience. Alescio played NCAA Division I soccer at Duquesne University, where he earned Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team honors as a freshman and served as team captain during his collegiate career. His leadership and competitive drive at Duquesne laid the foundation for a seamless transition into coaching. In 2020, Alescio began his coaching career as an assistant coach with the Jordan Lake Futbol Soccer Club. He quickly rose through the ranks, later serving as the Ladies Director and Head Coach for the JLFC Elite ’06, ’07, and ’08 Ladies teams. In these roles, he led player development initiatives and guided teams to success at competitive levels.
