Tammy Holleman joins Meredith College as Strategic Giving Officer for Athletics, marking a welcome return to the campus where she previously served as an assistant athletic trainer from 2010–2011 and head athletic trainer from 2015–2017. She brings extensive experience in collegiate athletics, fundraising, donor relations, and alumni engagement.
Most recently, Holleman served as Director of Donor & Alumni Relations at Santa Clara University, where she connected former student-athletes, donors, and supporters with athletics programs. She led annual athletics Day of Giving campaigns generating $750,000–$1.5 million and worked with the Bronco Bench Foundation on annual events raising more than $100,000 for student-athlete scholarships and endowments.
A former Division I soccer student-athlete at Western Carolina University, Holleman earned bachelor’s degrees in athletic training and criminal justice before completing a master’s degree in educational administration at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Her familiarity with Meredith, commitment to student-athletes, and experience building relationships make her a valuable addition as the College strengthens support for athletics and expands opportunities for women.
