Box Score RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball program beat Mary Baldwin University 3-1 Thursday night inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium.
The Avenging Angels took the first set 25-19 before falling in the second 25-21. Meredith outscored Mary Baldwin 50-31 in the final two sets to close them out and earn another USA South victory.
The Meredith attack was led by senior Hailey Long and junior Lauren Bissette who had 15 kills each. Long also added 12 digs to earn a double-double.
Junior Hannah Jo Jablonski had a game-high 13 digs. The offense was ran through sophomore Ali Polidori who tallied 31 assists with five digs.
The Avenging Angels were set to be back in action this Saturday but due to incoming weather those games have been moved to Sunday Oct. 2nd. They will face Greensboro at 3 p.m. followed by Methodist at 5 p.m. in Fayetteville, N.C.
