Aston, Pa. - The Meredith Field Hockey program dropped an away match at Neumann University 3-1 Friday afternoon.
Neumann jumped on the Angels early in the first quarter scoring two goals and out shooting Meredith 9-1. But the Angels responded by shutting out the Knights the new two periods.
Meredith tallied five shots in the final quarter of action with one finding the back of the net from sophomore
Jordan Brooks who scored her first career goal. Freshman
Megan Ingenito picked up the assist on the goal for the Angels.
Meredith tallied four penalty corners compared to the Knights nine. Junior
Shae-Lynn Henderson earned eight saves in goal for the Angels.
Meredith is right back in action tomorrow at noon when they take on Wilson College.
