ROME, Ga. - The Avenging Angels fell 3-0 against Emory University Thursday afternoon on the campus of Berry College in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. Emory came into the match ranked No. 1 in the region and No. 7 in the country overall.
Emory took the sets 25-16, 25-17, and 25-10.

Lauren Bissette in her last match as an Avenging Angel posted seven kills swinging a .278 hitting percentage. Fellow senior
Hannah Jo Jablonski tallied 10 digs with a service ace in her last game as an Angel.
Junior
Sara Dees was close to a double-double with eight kills and six digs. Sophomore
Alexa House grabbed seven digs while freshman
Megan Murray added six.
Meredith finished the season 25-7 overall and 16-2 in the USA South winning 15 of their last 16 matches. Head coach
Fiona Barkley earned her second USA South Volleyball Coach of the Year honor while seeing three athletes earn All-Conference. Â
