RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball program took down Methodist University 3-1 in USA South action Saturday afternoon inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium.

Sophomore setter Lillie Davis tallied 40 assists in the match and has now surpassed 1,000 career assists in her young Avenging Angel career.

The Monarchs took the first set 26-24 before being reversed swept by the Angels.

Senior Lauren Bissette had a game-high 17 kills swinging a .469 hitting percentage while also adding four blocks. Junior Sara Dees earned a double-double with 13 kills and 15 digs. 

Defensively, senior Hannah Jo Jablonski and freshman Megan Murray combined for 30 digs. 

The Angels move to 11-6 and 5-2 in conference play and host Mary Baldwin, Wednesday Oct. 4th at 6 p.m.
