Demorest, Ga. - The Meredith Soccer Program traveled to Piedmont College Friday afternoon where they fell 7-1 against Maryville College at the Walker Athletic Complex.

Meredith faced a 4-0 lead at halftime as the Scots scored just four minutes into the contest. The Angels lone goal came in the 90th minute when fifth year Morgan Thomas found the back of the net off an assist from freshman Samantha Carmichael. 

Meredith is back in action when they battle Oglethorpe on the road Sunday at 11 a.m.
