Basketball falls against N.C. Wesleyan

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith basketball program fell 72-38 against North Carolina Wesleyan University Tuesday night inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium. 

The Angels trailed 35-19 at the halftime break and never could recover. N.C. Wesleyan capitalized on face break points and points off turnovers with 15 each. 

Senior Piper Carriere led the Angels with 13 points. 

Meredith is back at home Friday afternoon when they host Greensboro College at 2 p.m.
