Raleigh, N.C. - The volleyball team hosted NC Wesleyan on Tuesday night and came away with the victory in four sets. It was the second time this season that the Avenging Angels have defeated the Bishops. This time by the scores of 22-25, 25-8, 25-16, 25-14. After an uninspiring first set in which the Avenging Angels recorded six service errors and hit .000 they rebounded at the service line and offensively to win the next three sets and secure the match. sweep of the week by defeating the host school by the scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-17.

Leading the way on offense was Sophomore Kinley Copeland with 7 kills and hitting a .312. Senior Emma Duncan and Sophomore Caitlyn Russell also contributed 7 kills each. 5 th year Hannah Jo Jablonski, Freshman Reagan Kresho and Junior Lillie Davis each had 3 service aces.

Meredith is back in action away this Thursday, October 17th when they travel to take on Methodist at 7pm.
