Meredith Soccer Wraps Up Season in USA South Tournament

BUENA VISTA, VA - Meredith College soccer took to the field Saturday in the First Round of the USA South Conference Tournament against the Southern Virginia University Knights in Buena Vista, Virginia. Despite a strong defensive effort, the Avenging Angels fell to the Knights with a final score of 2-0.

Goalkeeper Khaliah Jones was a standout for Meredith, achieving a career-high 12 saves and demonstrating resilience against a relentless Knights' offense. The Angels fought hard throughout the match, with the defense showcasing grit and determination, but SVU ultimately broke through, securing two goals to advance in the tournament.
