RALEIGH, N.C. - The Avenging Angels Tennis team picked up a 9-0 win over Mary Baldwin University Saturday afternoon on Senior Day for their first USA South victory of the season. 

Meredith started the afternoon by taking all three doubles matches. Fifth-year Hannah Higgins and junior Claire Southern picked up the win 8-6 in the No. 1 singles slot while senior Hannah Jo Jablonski and sophomore Anna Bittler earned an 8-1 win at No. 2 singles. 

The Angels earned the win at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles by default. 

Junior Ellie Osborne, Southern, Higgins, Jo Jablonski, and freshman Zoe Jones all won in straight sets in singles action. 

Meredith concludes the 2024 spring season when they host William Peace on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
