Raleigh, N.C. - After a strong weekend the Meredith volleyball program was defeated by visiting Greensboro this afternoon by the scores of 14-25, 28-30, 22-25. The Avenging Angels could never really get the offense or defense going. The 1 st set saw Greensboro come out and hit a .275 while Meredith was at a .133. 2nd set was a back and forth affair that came down to I play going the visitor's way to capture the set. In the 3 rd set Meredith came out strong and then eventually fell in a close set to Greensboro. Freshmen

Meredith is back in action at home on Tuesday, October 1st, as they welcome Mary Baldwin at 6 p.m. Fans are encouraged to join the fun and wear their best tropical attire for Hawaiian Night at the game.
