RALEIGH, N.C. - Meredith College Field Hockey hosted Eastern Mennonite University for their 2025 senior day celebration. After taking a quick three goal lead in the first quarter, the Angels

How it Happened:

The quarter ended Meredith 3, Eastern Mennonite 0.

The second quarter was a mid field battle with fewer offensive opportunities. As the half drew to a close, Meredith was able to put up five shots to the Royals zero. However, no shots were converted for the Angels before the buzzer sang. First half ended, Meredith 3, Royals 0.

At the start of the second half, Meredith turned up the offensive pressure, sending 10 shots to the Royals 2. This time, 1 shot fell in favor of Meredith when Maya Kirstein capitalized off a crossing ball from Charlotte Dyer. The third quarter ended Meredith 4, Royals 0.

The final quarter was the Angles' most dominant, sending 15 shots with 3 penalty corners to the Royals 0 shots with 0 corners. This quarter fell fruitful again for Meredith when Marrisa Tilgner converted the final goal of the match on a pass, once again, from Charlotte Dyer. Match final; Meredith 5, Eastern Mennonite 0.
