ATLANTA, Ga. – The Meredith College lacrosse team continued its strong start to the season with a convincing road victory over Oglethorpe University on Sunday afternoon in Atlanta. Meredith controlled play from the opening draw and never looked back, improving to 3-0 on the season.

Meredith jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter, scoring seven of the game's first nine goals to take firm control of the contest. The Avenging Angels maintained steady pressure throughout all four quarters, finishing with a 49–11 advantage in shots and an 18–7 edge in draw controls to control possession and tempo.

Reese Walker led the Meredith offense with five goals and three assists for eight points. Kenzie Todd, Bailey Swails, and Mia Frick each added four goals, while Logan Campbell chipped in one. The Avenging Angels totaled six assists on the afternoon, highlighting strong ball movement and balanced scoring.
Madison Dean controlled the draw circle with eight draw controls and added five ground balls. Walker also made her presence felt defensively with seven ground balls and six caused turnovers, helping Meredith generate transition opportunities throughout the game.
