FOUR OAKS, N.C. - Meredith Golf opened its 2026 fall season on Thursday afternoon in Four Oaks, North Carolina, taking down William Peace to claim victory in a one day match between the two cross town rivals.

The Avenging Angels had three athletes at 100 or better on the day, highlighted by freshman Natalie Stroud, who fired a 93 in her first collegiate round.

Laura Lea Allen was right on her heels, opening her fall season with a 94, thanks to a trio of pars coming in the middle of her round.

Martina Diodato closed strong, making three pars on her inward nine to shoot an even 100 on the day.

Callie Shepherd and Madelyn Caldwell rounded out the group competing on Thursday for the Avenging Angels.

Up next, Meredith will have a few days off before taking on its first full field event of the fall, the Bridgewater Invitational, set to begin this Monday, September 21 in Rockingham, Virginia.
