After graduating in 2021 from Meredith College with a degree in exercise and sports science, Drake went on to get her master’s in business administration while continuing her softball career. She then returned to the softball program as an Assistant Coach in August of 2023.
A 2022 All-Region First Team selection, Alyssa Drake appeared in 171 career games, making 158 starts in the outfield/shortstop. She finished her career with a batting average. .336, including 165 hits, 22 doubles, 6 triples, and 7 home runs. In 2018 she received the Jack Huber Softball Award and in the following years received both the defensive and offensive MVP different years. She also received USA South All-Conference First Team in 2022.
