Sweet Briar, Va. - The Meredith volleyball team finished with a split in their weekend road trip to Lynchburg and Sweet Briar.  The Avenging Angels lost to Lynchburg 3-0 on Friday night and defeated Sweet Briar on Saturday afternoon 3-0.

Lynchburg 3, Meredith 0 - The Hornets took Meredith in straight sets, 25-12, 25-17, 25-21

Meredith 3, Sweet Briar 0 - The Angels defeated the Vixens in three sets with scores of 17-25, 22-25, and 22-25.

Meredith next travels to Fayetteville on Tuesday to take on Methodist at 7 p.m.
