Fayetteville, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball team traveled to Methodist on Tuesday night in a USA South conference match up.  The Monarchs took the match in straight sets 25-18, 25-22, 25-18.

Meredith (13-13, 6-7 USA South) was led on offensive by two players with eight kills each including senior Mallory Booker and Anna Hayes.  Clarke Glendenning added 14 assists and Leanne Burton 12.  MaryBeth Finegan had 12 digs on defense.

Methodist (14-11, 5-8) out blocked Meredith 7-0 and hit a combined .350 compared to Meredith's .124.

Meredith next plays Christopher Newport and Ferrum on Saturday at Peace College.
