Washington, D.C. - The Meredith volleyball team traveled to Washington, D.C. to participate in the 2010 Worthington Classic at Gallaudet University.  Meredith gained a split on the day losing to Gallaudet 3-0 and defeating Sweet Briar 3-0.

Match 1:  Gallaudet 3, Meredith 0 - The host Bison took down the Avenging Angels in straight sets 25-16, 25-22, 25-16.  

Match 2: Meredith 3, Sweet Briar 0 - Meredith continuing their winning ways over the Vixens,
taking them in straight sets.

Meredith returns to action on Saturday as they play Emerson at 9am and then play another  match against a to be determined opponent in the afternoon.
