Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball team concluded their four conference matches in two days, gaining a split for the second day in a row. The Avenging Angels overpowered Mary Baldwin 3-0 and lost to Averett 3-0.

Meredith 3, Mary Baldwin 0 - The first game on the day saw Meredith take control of the Fighting Squirrels 25-9, 25-9, 25-15. The Angels were led by Cori Spade and Mallory Booker with six kills each.

Averett 3, Meredith 0 - Meredith's second game saw them hang with Averett but fall short each set losing 25-21, 25-20, 25-22. The Avenging Angels were led by Spade with nine kills and eight assists.

Meredith next hosts Methodist on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
