Salem, Va. - The Meredith volleyball team finished their non-conference road trip through Virginia with a five set win over Roanoke College.  The Avenging Angels (14-7) took the first, third and fifth set to secure the win (27-25, 24-26, 25-22, 19-25, 15-10).

Meredith was led by Cori Spade with a 24 kill and 11 dig performance.  Rebecca Yow and Molly Markley both added eight kills.  Kara Baughman was the assist leader with 21 while MaryBeth Finegan led in digs with 13.  Clarke Glendenning, Markley and Yow all had two blocks a piece for the Angels.

The Avenging Angels return to action on Wednesday as they host USA South foe N.C. Wesleyan in a Dig Pink Game.  The match starts at 7 p.m.
