Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball rivalry with Peace continued on Wednesday night in Weatherspoon Gymnasium as the Avenging Angels downed the Pacers 3-1(19-25,25-17,25-22, 25-14). Meredith (12-5, 6-3 USA South) overcame a 1-0 deficit to take the next three sets and secure the win.

Meredith was led by Molly Markley with 15 kills and two total blocks. Cori Spade had 13 kills to go with 16 digs. Kara Baughman was the assist leader with 19 and MaryBeth Finegan pulled up 16 digs. Meredith held the 8-2 advantage on blocks.

Meredith continues USA South play on Saturday as the Avenging Angels host Mary Baldwin and Averett. The matches are set to start at 12 and 4 p.m.
