RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Meredith College field hockey team fell to Sewanee 8-0 at the Meredith Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers scored just once in the first quarter and added two in the second before the end of the half. The Tigers added five more in the second half to secure the 8-0 win.

Shae-Lynn Henderson stopped a total of 26 shots in the game.

The Tigers also held an 8-5 edge in penalty corners in the game.

The Avenging Angels return to action on Thursday, Oct. 21, against Southern Virginia at 6 pm.
