Meredith jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead less than five minutes into the game en route to a 26-5 win over NC Wesleyan.

Meredith (7-1, 4-0 USA South) had 11 players register points, led by Maya Flake's game-high nine points on three goals and six assists. Flake also had a game-high four caused turnovers. Senior Lilia Cruz led all scorers with 5 goals. Freshman Jess Dowdy paced the Avengings Angels with a game-leadings 11 draw controls.

NC Wesleyan was led by Ali Cucinotta factored into all six goals for the Battling Bishops, scoring four goals to go along with two assits, and had a game-high five ground balls.

Meredith is back in action on Saturday as they travel to face USA South foe Averett at 2:00 pm.
