ASHLAND, Va. -- The Meredith College field hockey program hit the road to face Randolph-Macon on Saturday evening.

The Avening Angels (0-5) fell 9-0 to the Yellow Jackets (4-3), who picked up their fourth win in five games.

Shae-Lyn Henderson stopped 42 shots in all 60 minutes, while Gatlin Snyder and Kelsey Seiler combined for the shutout.

The Avenging Angels return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 28, as they travel to face Virginia Wesleyan beginning at 6 pm.
