Box Score Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball program rolled past Roanoke College 3-0 Tuesday night inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium in non-conference action.
The Avenging Angels were led by junior Lauren Bissette who netted 11 kills with a .429 hitting percentage. The wealth was spread out after that as senior Hailey Long added nine kills with seven digs and sophomore Martin-Maine Wrangell added eight kills. Sopomore Emma Duncan also added seven kills.
Freshman setter Lillie Davis totaled 38 assists in the three setter while the defense was ancohored by junior Hannah Jo Jablonski who led the team in digs with eight.
The Maroons gave Meredith a run for their money in the third set but the Avenging Angels were able to shut the door having to score 28 to earn the sweep.
Meredith is back in Weatherspoon Gymnasium Thursday when they host N.C. Wesleyan for USA South action.
