Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith field hockey program fell 1-0 Tuesday night to Ferrum College at the Meredith Track & Field Complex.

The Avenging Angels tallied seven goals with three of them being on target. The seven total shots is the second most Meredith has tallied all year behind when they played the Panthers on the road.

Ferrum took the lead in the second quarter of action and the one goal proved to be enough. 

The Panthers tallied 14 shots while both teams earned five corners each.

Sophomore Shae-Lynn Henderson netted 12 saves in goal.

Meredith is back in action Saturday when they travel to Southern Virginia for a 2 p.m. start.
