Box Score 2 Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball program picked up two key USA South wins over Greensboro College and Methodist University Saturday afternoon inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium.
In the 3-0 win over Greensboro, senior Hailey Long earned a game-high 12 kills while junior Lauren Bissette added nine. Junior Hannah Jo Jablonski led the game in digs with 17 while freshman setter Lillie Davis earned 28 assists and 13 digs. The Pride pushed the Angels in the first set forcing Meredith to score 29 to earn the first set win of the day.
In the 3-1 win over Methodist, Bissette tallied career-highs in kills with 28 as well as hitting percentage, swinging a .730 for the match. Fellow middle, graduate student Kenzie Moore, added 11 kills to help the offensive attack.
Defensively, Jablonski led the way with 21 digs while sophomore Emily Emerson added 10. Davis totaled 54 assists in the four-set victory.
The Angels host William Peace Wednesday Oct. 26th for their final home game at 7 p.m.
