Box Score 2 Misenheimer, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball program picked up two wins to end the 2022 regular season beating Pfeiffer 3-0 and downing Salem 3-1 Saturday afternoon inside Merner Gym.
In the sweep over the Falcons, sophomore Emma Duncan earned 14 kills swinging a .571 hitting percentage while junior Lauren Bissette added 13 kills with a .500 hitting percentage. \
Junior Hannah Jo Jablonski led the defense with 14 digs while freshman setter Lillie Davis earned a double-double with 35 assists and 10 digs.
The Avenging Angels had to fight from behind after dropping the first set to Salem. Meredith won three in a row and ran away with the third set 25-10.
Senior Hailey Long tallied 19 kills with a .500 hitting percentage from the outside hitting position. Bissette added 15 kills while Joblonski and sophomore Emily Emerson picked up 10 digs each.
The Angels are set to travel to Salem for the first round of the USA South tournament as long as Salem beats Pfeiffer this afternoon.
