(RALEIGH, NC) - The semifinal round of the 2022 USA South Women's Lacrosse tournament has come to a close on the campus of Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The tournament's two top seeds, Meredith and Southern Virginia, each secured wins to advance to the championship contest which will take place at Meredith tomorrow, April 30. The host, and top-seeded, Avenging Angels defeated fourth-seeded Methodist, 25-4, while second-seeded Southern Virginia topped third-seeded Averett, 15-6.

Meredith will now look to capture its eighth consecutive USA South Tournament title while Southern Virginia seeks to become a champion in the program's first year in the Conference.
