Delaware, Oh. – Meredith fell to Ohio Wesleyan 8-0 Sunday afternoon in their second game of the weekend on the road. 

The Avenging Angels battled tough early and headed into the second quarter trailing 2-0. Three second quarter goals from Ohio Wesleyan gave them a 5-0 headed to half and Meredith was never able to recover.  

Freshman Hannah Stacy earned 12 saves in goal for the Avenging Angels.

Meredith is back in action for their home opener on Friday the 16th when they host Virginia Wesleyan at 6 p.m.
