Box Score Greensboro, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball program escaped Guilford College with a five-set win Friday night inside Ragan-Brown Field House.
Meredith (7-4, 0-0 USA South) won the first set but Guilford (2-8, 0-1 ODAC) bounced back and took the next two sets over the Avenging Angels.
Sophomore Martin-Maine Wrangell had her best showing of the season thus far with 12 kills and a .346 hitting percentage. The Avenging Angels were led by junior Lauren Bissette who had a game-high 16 kills and also a game-high hitting percentage with a .600.
Junior Hannah Jo Jablonski led the defense with 15 digs while fellow sophomore Emily Emerson tacked on 10 digs herself.
Meredith is back in action when they begin USA South play at N.C. Wesleyan Tuesday the 20th at 7 p.m.
