Raleigh, N.C. - Meredith fell to Roanoke College 8-0 Wednesday night at the Meredith Track and Field Complex. 

The Avenging Angels gave up seven first half goals to the Maroons but battled tough in the second half earning a penalty corner and only giving up one more goal. 

Freshman Hannah Stacy earned eight saves in the second half for the Avenging Angels while sophomore Shae-Lynn Henderson tallied 12 in the first.

Meredith is back in action at home Saturday when they host Randolph-Macon at 1 p.m.
