RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith Volleyball program earned a 3-1 victory over cross town rival William Peace University Tuesday night in front of a capacity crowd inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium.
The Angels move to 19-6 overall with a 13-2 USA South record sitting alone at the top of the conference standings.
Meredith was led by senior stud
Lauren Bissette who posted 17 kills with a .500 hitting percentage. She also added four blocks.
Freshman
Caitlyn Russell added 12 kills as well while juniors
Sara Dees and
Emma Duncan combined for 13. Dees posted 17 digs to add to her night.
Running the show was sophomore
Lillie Davis who had 45 assists and eight digs. Senior libero
Hannah Jo Jablonski posted a game-high 30 digs by a wide margin anchoring the defense.
The Angels head to Methodist Thursday for another USA South test at 7 p.m.
