Misenheimer, N.C. - The Meredith basketball team traveled to Brevard College for their second game in two days falling 70-42 Saturday afternoon inside Merner Gym.
The Falcons jumped out to a 24-15 lead to end the first quarter before outscoring the Angels 18-5 in the third quarter to secure the victory.
Once again senior
Piper Carriere led the charge with nine points and eight rebounds while also adding four assists.
Freshman
Marlee Beam and junior
Barresha Jones combined for 15 points and five rebounds to also contribute.
Meredith is back in action for their USA South home opener on Tuesday when they host Salem at 6 p.m.
