RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball program swept North Carolina Wesleyan University Tuesday night in the first round of the USA South conference tournament inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium.
The No. 1 seed Meredith dominated the No. 8 seed N.C. Wesleyan in the first set winning 25-12. The Angels took the next two sets by tighter scores 25-20, and 25-21.

Lauren Bissette led all players with 16 kills while swinging an outrageous .615 hitting percentage. Bissette also added two blocks while freshman
Caitlyn Russell added nine kills.

Hannah Jo Jablonski tallied 15 digs while sophomore setter
Lillie Davis earned 32 assists and six digs.
The Angels will host the semi-final match on Thursday at 7 p.m. against Salem College.
