RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith basketball program hosted Johnson & Wales Saturday afternoon inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium and fell 86-36. 

The Angels were only down 12 at the end of the first quarter before being outscored 19-10 in the second. Meredith only combined for 14 total points in the second half of action. 

Sophomore Danae Hawkins led the Angels with eight points while senior Danika Ray led the team with six rebounds. 

Meredith is right back in action at home tomorrow when they host EMU at 2 p.m.
