RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith basketball program dropped a home USA South game 74-39 against Southern Virginia University Saturday afternoon inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium.

The Knights outscored the Angels 24-9 in the first quarter and led 55-19 at the half. 

Freshman Paris Bethea led Meredith with seven points and four rebounds. 

Meredith has a long break until their next game when they host Johnson & Wales on Dec. 16th at 2 p.m.
