RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball program swept Roanoke College 3-0 Tuesday night inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium in non-conference action.
The Angels (6-2) won 25-21 in the first set before dominating set two winning 25-14. Then closed the Maroons (5-5) out in the third set 25-23 which came down to the wire.
The Meredith defense and block held Roanoke to a negative hitting percentage at -.043. Freshman
Kinley Copeland led the block party with four blocks while senior
Lauren Bissette added three. Copeland added three kills while Bissette had a game-high nine hitting .444.

Hannah Jo Jablonski had a game-high 14 digs. Sophomore
Lillie Davis had a game-high 15 assists while freshman
Maggie Gibbons, on her birthday, added 10 assists and four kills.Â
The Angels open USA South play in a big matchup against Salem College on Thursday inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
