RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith soccer program took down Randolph College 1-0 for their first win of the 2023 season Saturday afternoon at the Meredith Track & Field Complex.
Junior
Meredith Warrick gave the Angels the 1-0 advantage in just the 9th minute of action. Warrick scored an outstanding olympico goal after the Angels earned a corner kick.
The Angels out shot the Wildcats 12-5 while also earning seven more corner kicks. The Meredith defense did not allow a single corner kick opportunity for Randolph the entire second half.

Morgan Thomas tallied four shots while fellow fifth year
Kasey Wilkins and sophomore
Allison Fox combined for six saves in goal to keep the clean sheet for the Angels.
Meredith is back at home, Wednesday, Sep. 20th when they host
Louisburg College at 7 p.m.
